Hey, I am curious how you guys got the converter and 4th gear to engage. Did you use pressure switches? If so how did you hook them up? Thanks!!

 

Anybody know which switches worked? I have heard that some of them don't work and will make the transmission hunt because of how the switch is calibrated. Thanks!!

In my case, since the cruise control hadn't worked in years, I used the cruise control switch on the turn signal lever. Works great.
I know of a couple guys that have used pressure switches/solenoids. One guy hated it's inconsistency and went with a toggle. And, the other guy loves it. The jury is still out on that one.

 

PATC has a couple kits with different pressure switches to customize the set up. They are pretty reasonable too.

I'm going to use one of their switches to operate the lockup in my truck since I converted it.
