Hello.
I have finally have this truck running. I have been dealing with a running problem.I had ether 800 rpm or 1150 rpm,I mean only one or the other nothing else. I finally found a cummins house that reflashed the computer, because I was told by the yard I got it from that it had security in it that is whey it would not run, well that did not fix it .So today I went out and removed all the wire covering and started checking for a broken wire,lo and behold I found one.It was at the 50 wire plug on the ECM on the cummins. The wire no # was 13 the white wire,it just pulled out.It is the Data Link (+) Fuel Injection Pump to the injection pump to power up. The truck runs great now. So from now on check the wires before I install another Eng in a truck, just in case the guy at the salvage yard brakes a wire It won't take me longer then it will be.

I forgot to tell you how I fixed the wire on the ECM . This is very in portent to remember . cheap is OK. I took a sheet rock screw 1 1/2 fine thread and put a layer of soldier on the wire the screed it in the corrector checked voltage good the put together ,that was my fix and it works great, best of all did not have to by a wire harness.
