got the cross members locations drilled/bolted
for the drive shafts
the bolt holes were easy to locate using a template
the rear fuel tank cross member
wants to share space
with the emergency brake cables and cargo bulkhead

gayle is working on the cab
she got all the old seam sealer dug out
applied the new
she also got the interior and door post painted
"Hammered" silver paint
to off set the gray interior -dash , seat, carpet
i worked on the exhaust
didn't have enough 3"
So, used 4" and made it look like
a Full-flow muffler just needs welding

also make grease-able hinges
top closed
top open
bottom closed
bottom open ( tube needs welding)
ID of tubing is just large enough
for pin to fit
so that tubing supports the whole pin
instead of 2 little bushings

had to step the cargo floor
(1" corragated alum. aircraft flooring)
will use the upper level
for storing the spare tire
the holes in the "X" strips
is for tie downs

to service the fuel tank/ drive shaft

thought I would revive this old post.
IT's a new year
Hope it gets me back in gear
2010 set me back,
finally get to get back on this project
speaking of gear
Finally found a 3.07 cab chassis rear
long version here>http://ramchargercentral.com/diesel-...ummins-hauler/
