New traction bar idea

I think after this season I may redesign my traction bars to go with a set up similar to these which incorporate the lift block into the traction bar.

What if you wanted to raise or lower your truck? Then you'd have to get new ones? Mine are adjustable with heims joints on each end and i can easily raise/lower my truck with no problem.

if you surf their site, or look up their videos on youtube using the company name you will also find out that the price is prolly mac daddy also.

however, i still feel the basic design is probably one of the best overall designs for a street truck set-up, and drag racing also.

getblown-

you think those bars can handle the stress/weight of sled pulling?

they do look pretty slick, though, I have never seen anything like that

i have seen worse designs and cheaper built set-ups handle it, that system seems to be strong and the design does what it is supposed to do.

Are you going to buy a set or build a similar set?

<- No money for high dollar powder coating and spider web gussets

but I may build a set using similar design next year, give myself 2" of lift in the rear and maybe even make it a ladder set-up with 4 bars, and a shackle up front.

or i might worry about the other things i have to fix and leave mine alone since they are working just fine
