Lightbulb Traction Bar Idea...

I was reading some of the previous posts on different traction bar setups, and noticed everyone using a 2 bar and 3 bar setup. What I haven't seen is a 4-Link setup like the ones used on a drag car. There is more than enough room under the truck and i wouldn't change the pinon angle when the axle rises. Second their a really simple setup, just mount the bar beside each other instead of stacked to prevent the bars from contacting each other. Any input on this idea would be greatly apprieciated, due to the fact that I'm looking at building my own and this seems like the best setup for a street/pull truck.

Most stock classes in truck pulls don't allow 4 bar suspension and set the minimum length for traction bars at 60". Oh yeah and air bags at 30psi. ks

It is my understanding that on the rear end with just a standard U-joint on the driveshaft that you want the pinion pointed right at the output of the transfer case. This is to reduce and cancel out the harmonics when the driveshaft turns. The front has a CV, also called double cardan style driveshaft. Because of this the 4 link works great because you want the front pinion to be parallel with the ground to cancel out the harmonics. I think most people do a triangular 3 link-per-bar because it is easier and eliminates axle wrap.
