The sled we normally pull is 47,000 lbs. I dont think over all weight is that big a deal. The lighter sleds can be adjusted to stop you several different ways.

Its not that your truck SUCKS, Has anyone ever road the sled down the track with a big modified hooked to it or a super street style truck. I think its just as fun on the back of the run as it is the front!!!!
Mind you this sleds are capable of stopping the most nasty trucks around. They can set there sled up to where they can have a big % of the trucks end around the same mark give or take a few feet and inchs. Theres always that class of truck that has the right set up for what the track is like for the nite, next week an hour away it might be your buddies truck that has the right set up. Tracks change so much in a pull, if you run 10 diff classes that nite it could change within a class, and most deff over 2 or 3 classes. Alot of dew in the air or a steady wind, So truck SUCKS I dont think so,its just you have not found what you need to hook better on the tracks you run. Find what some of the other guys are running for tires and traction bars maybe make a few changes that wouldn't cost as much as some of these expensive upgrades

I hear ya...I just always hear this bragging about super heavy sleds...

watch this video once, and you will see what a tiny sled can do with a long chain and loose track to a hot running truck
