i watched a sled smaller than that stop a very good running 5,000rpm 12v in less than 180' on a loose track...meanwhile a ford on 37's with a chip won the modified class that day

We are just lucky to have a sled and a few different places to pull. We will have a newer sled hopfully soon. Wauchula is a short track but is a good track and one we use when it is hot in the summer and it never gets rained out.

That sled looks to me like its a 25,000 lb sled . with the skid plate down and prooly drag chains my make for 45k. Our sleds here roll down road from 45k to 55k and is twice the sled some of these sleds are just plain Mean (Truck Brakin S__T!!!)

corydr2003 are you saying your truck is so bad this sled can't stop your truck? You can't tell how much a sled weighs by looking at them, but you can by pulling them. If you want to talk about our sled then why dont you come down here and show us how to drag this atv/arctic cat 95 lb light weight sled. Come on now time to man up!

55,000lbs sleds?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HetIWOAkvRI
the sled in this video is about 20k according to the owner who i talked to that night in the pits. yet it had no problem stopping the baddest of the bad, even seen it stop some GOOD running semi's before in about 330'

i guess all our trucks suck since we aren't in the midwest

Thats not what i'm sayin, you put those words in my mouth. Your right I can't tell how much it weighs by looking, but I can git close. The sled that i had come to my pull last year tipped the scale at 46,000 lbs I saw the scale sheet!!! I'm sayin that this sled isn't the worst pulling around.
Now for the other don't think i don't have the ***** to pull a sled ,talk to the Mo chapter guys i'll pull it.
You took things the wrong way, I busted your ***** a little thats it.
