I'll have to agree with you. I'm sure the Mitchell's tune their pulling trucks on the rollers, but they aren't in the game for max hp and that's why we don't hear about it.

I would think some of the top pullers in the country are in the 1400hp neighborhood so this 1200hp out of a truck that was driven from California up there is pretty darn impressive.

 

I thought I read somewhere that Eric Stacey's truck was something like 1800 horse

 

I think that would be close, and it's all on #2 and Water. So that puts him almost half way there. Pretty good tho for driving it there

 

That truck is insane! Must be scary knowing you have to constantly be aware of your right foot or you'll break the tires loose.
