Dyno Day, 2nd Annual 10,000 lbft of Torque in the Southwest
Just to let everyone know, I am in the planning stages of another dyno day. It will be the 2nd annual 10,000 lbft of torque in the southwest. Currently working on Cummins Rocky Mountain as the host and should know soon. The branch manager said it would be a good thing and there are many HP junkies that work for the branch in Colorado. We are going to raise money for Families of Fallen Soldiers in coordination with the Purple Heart Association. We will have a lot of fun and looking for more trucks this coming year. The proposed date is May 17th (a Sunday) and want to start spreading the word a lot sooner. Start planning for a great event and we would like to see people from out of state. We had several guys come in from Colorado and El Paso Texas. We will have great door prizes, an auction and class trophies. Spread the word and lets raise some money!

I talked to the branch manager at Cummins Rocky Mountain and his boss said NO for safety reasons. I am still working on a location. Will keep everyone updated.

Sunday
you said it would be on a Sunday? Kinda hard to drive back and get to work Monday morning if your out of town...Why not Saturday so we can enjoy the night life also and leave Sunday morning.
just my 2 cents......
What are the requirements for the meet, might just know a place.

I am up for suggestions. I am going to meet with Wagner Cat on Tuesday to see if they will host it. If they won't then I am going to Flash Auto. We need to find a place that will donate the time for the fund raiser.

cummins shop declined due to "safety" reasons. The store GM was all stoked to do it but corporate up in Denver said no. So I am looking for another location. We are getting up some good sponsors as well.
sponsors so far
High Desert Ravelco
New Mexico Offroad League
Zangara Dodge
Galles Chevy
Ford Dealer
Ice Box MFG
Cross Country Auto
Excel Manufacturing
Legacy Riders
working on
S&B intakes
Airdog (they were a sponsor last year and gave away an AD system)
Lazarsmith (Mike hooked us up with some really nice trophy's!)
there are more but my brain is not working

I would be more than happy to offer my place. I have no shop or dyno but I have plenty of room for one so if you will donate the shop and dyno, I will donate the location.
