Yes please do tell.. What has Aaron done other than set a goal for his own rig? I don't recall him saying anything calling out Barry and his (or rather his customers) ride. Barry put up the bond at the track, pretty ballsy if you ask me and who did that impress?? Hope his friends were happy because more than 2 people I talked to were unimpressed with the trophy going back to NADPs trophy case... I still like the "how to blow a head gasket" demo..

That being said, I do think its pretty ballsy for someone to walk into this thread and make inflamatory comments like that. (Why the need for the new username? I mean the guy has 2 posts, so its quite apparant whos camp hes in)

You keep mentioning how they (nadp) feel you are close. Run a time remotely close to Mike's truck and then you can continue making the "how scared they are comments"

 

That was not even close to a "how scared they are comment" I mentioned that once stateing that we were close to getting to the times Mike's truck runs. How many times has that truck been on the track? more than you can count on your hands anyways and us..... lets see 3 so 3 times and we are running 11.02. I think thats pretty dam good.

 

Why are you waving the NADP flag???? I have to go back, but I don't ever remember CT saying they were making DP feel scared... He cut 11 seconds, first run on the new power plant on fuel only. Not bad in my book.. Oh and he drives his own truck!!! Novel concept..

 

Aaron did mention it a few times in the "nadp event" thread, no big deal. I am having trouble understanding why barry takes so much heat on some of these boards. I doubt there is any company that puts as much time and resources to promote diesel events as nadp does. I Never said that the CT truck doesn't run well, it just has alot of work to catch Mike's truck and it has a 1500lb. advantage. I will ask you a question, it is very obvious you do not care for barry. Why is that?

 

Start a poll on that with the ABDTR and see what you get for responses. As for me, I prefer not to discuss that matter...

 

Why not. you bash away would be nice to know why. seems like a pretty big anti NADP group on here. A member gets banned for saying that it may take awhile to figure out a truck that was not buit by the shop that is running it now, and the shop admits that they haven't had many runs on it to dial it in.

 

I am not bashin NADP.. If I disagree with them, does that say I am bashing them? I posted links on other sites to their 10.x second run in Edmonton.

Will I buy from them? bluntly NO. Thats not bashing. I poke fun at Barry getting to spend someone elses money to make a 10 second truck, if thats bashing then I suppose I am guilty.. I am known I guess for giving opinions that bite, but hey, lil dogs do that...LOL...

 

NADP has a good bunch there but charge wayyyyy to much!!!! I priced out my HTT SS turbo from NADP, best price was $2800.00 plus 250.00 for downpipe, just after spending $4000.00 on other stuff. Priced one out from ETR Diesel, $2100.00 with downpipe after taxes and exchange shipped to my door!!! No need to charge so much?? That's why Aaron and his small town shop will take way better care of us then the NADP warehouse. Just my $.02.

 

There has been no bashing of Barry or NADP on here at all. I know I have said my self that Barry built one hell of a truck and I agree I have lots of work to catch it, no bashing on here whatsoever Barry has butted heads with us before but that is all past us and we get along now. I want to see Canada produce some of the fastest trucks in North America we have the fastest ones in Canada and I beleive that we are both on our way to having some of the fastest in North America. Barry is just a little closer.

maybe bashing wasn't the right word. just seems some members (not cranked dodge) make it very obvious they don't care for NADP and i was wondering why. I think any truck that runs in the 11's or faster is pretty cool. the competition will be very good next year.

 

The competition will be good next year. Now that the really fast DM's are dumping the Alli for faster shifting trannies, the 10 second trucks are going to start popping up all over. Diesel drags are a whole new animal now.

 

Well now im just going to have to shoot for the nines....lol. Comp should be really tight next year for sure.
