Clutch Question

Ok so i got a clutch from a buddy. its a 3850FB6, now i have a 2wd daily driver that i dyno and do a little racing. i am getting a HD cam, 90's, HD springs, HD push rods "dont realy need push rods just doing them with the cam cause i got a great price on them", bag of parts for my cp-3, and everything in my sig. should i wait and buy a not so hard core pulling clutch and baby my ofe for a while or should i just install this one and then when i get the money i will change it out with something else? i'm doing the install so its just time not money... i thought about trading it for something better for what i need.

Thanks,
Eric

While dragging can be done with a DD, it is murder on the syncro's, and still hard to shift. If you try to back up anything heavy it will be jerky and since 2wd you don't have a low range to drop into. If you can sell it or trade it for something else, that would be my recommendation, from experience driving one.Unless you have been abusing that OFE it should hold for a while. You will be over it torqu probably but drive it till it goes. Most new clutches come with a new fly wheel so not much to worry about there.
