1000+hp d-max

with huge turbos and the right tuning you can greatly reduce smoke and still make big power. Westers is particularly known for this. I personally know a guy with a 6" lifted extended cab/short bed dmax on 35's with stock everything on the engine (stock turbo, etc..), runs westers, and goes 13.0 seconds flat in the 1/4 mile. The darn thing doesnt smoke at all, honest. The tuning capabilities of an electronic common-rail diesel are endless...its not a 12 valve.
I do kinda agree tho, Ill have to see it with my own eyes to completely beleive it (a 1,000hp pull)

EFI live is a great tool...you can tune it to run exactly as you want it too, and full control over timing, fueling, everything! Smoke can be created or eliminated with a few clicks of the mouse!

i know but i'm not knocking them if they did do it and if they did that's good thing for he duramax crew but i have noticed alot of time u hvae one person or couple people saying this truck did this and they have no proof of it . like a a truck doing 12 second 1/4 and having no slip or saying i have it but u can't see it or dyno slips. and dynojets i though were made to tune a truck. the drums are only like 2000 pounds and when there spinning there no alot of pressure. i saw mustang dynos that i have seen have like a 2 drums and the tires go in between them and u can put more pressure on a tires to give it a more real life like driving it on the road so they use a dynojet then a mustang dyno to see what they can get out of it insted of a dynojet alot of people use for tunning?

Kyle proves his horsepower on the pulling track! He runs with Erik Stacey, Curt/Van Haisley, and Schied at almost every pull and if there is a such thing as a 1,000hp truck then I'd say they are in that category.
