gear swap
I am in the Ventura / Thousand Oaks area and am looking to do a gear swap. My 315's with 3.55's are not cutting it. I am looking to replace with 4.10/11's. I got quotes of 2-2400 for front and rear from private shops but this seems a little steep.
Is this right or should I keep looking for cheeper?

I am sure you could find someone to just "throw" in a new gear set for cheaper, but that is a job best given to a guy who does a good work.
It takes skill and patience to set them up right.
I would be more worried and the shops reputation than the cost of $2000 quote.
