Did you scoop new/used wiring harness as well? One day, that gonna be one of the hardest parts to find a good stock unmolested wiring harness.

Fred, glad to hear you made there & back without incident. That's a killer price for the PCM. I hope it works out.

When I was younger I did some crazy driving for car/truck parts also.
Once when I was working in T.O., I drove overnite to Ohio to pick up CNC ported heads for my Mustang. The Canadian border cops really gave me the scrutiny getting back into Canada.

Last fall, I was debating driving to Michigan to pick up the SRT-10 Ram seats I bought, but my wife quickly put a halt to that.
Fedex is still sending me bills for that shipment!

FINALLY!!!! I got it back today, as usual nothing goes as smoothly as it should. Got the truck back after paying the 800 dollar bill to program and plug in my PCM that I had to drive to washington for only to have it try and kill me... Drove it no more then 4 blocks and all of a sudden the thing dang near pins itself and I wasnt even touching the go-pedal. Both feet to the floor on the brake front tires locked, back tires smoking, truck sliding all over, finally get it to a halted breakstand and put it in neutral(truck holds at 2500-2750RPM). Truck wont shut off, get out start playing with things under the hood and truck kicks down to idle, hit the gas nothing happens. So I limped it back and they simply without any care that I could have just killed someone if it would have happened at a different time, tell me that I have a A.P.P.S code... needless to say I was quite upset and shaken up. They quote me 1000 bones to put in a new A.P.P.S!!! I had a feeling I knew where one could be found so I made a call, and sure enough within the hour I had a loaner till the one I order comes in, THANKS MIKE!!!!!!!!!!!
Long story short, I will not be going back to a dealership for a long time!!!
So it ends for the time being, its been a long and interesting journey of electrical gremlins rearing their ugly heads.
Until further carnage, Fred.

Fred, I have a good APPS if you need one. Could save you some coin if you are ordering a new one.

Fred. I have an APPS, PCM and a ECM too if you need to do some troubleshooting. Let me know and you can try them out if you need to.

In this case it was sort of a good/bad thing that they didn't test drive it before they gave it back.. They should do this anyway but the young goof from the shop would have driven right through the Tim Hortons!

Fred, you have to be getting better luck soon!

Thanks everyone, I got the PCM issue completely solved now, looking for an apps, Mike has lent me his until I get one.
I am so in love with my truck again I cant belive it. I have been driving a VW passat wagon for the past 2 weeks and I sort of got used to it I guess.
I'm not sure if its possible but it seems almost like the new PCM made the truck run differently... I know it has no control what so ever on how it will run it just links all the different module on the truck together but it sounds like I have a HRVP now and it seems alot louder when its grunting under boost(set off 3 car alarms today and it vibrates everything plastic in my truck)
I dont really have the kickdown hooked up right now but I love how it is shifting, the 1-2 shift when I have the lockup switch on happens at like 2000 and really grunts then the 2-3 at like 2500 fully locked up. I ran the G-tech again today and it said 13.2 @110, I'm not sure how accurate that is but it defenitly feels about right as I can walk past my buddy's SRT-4 and he ran 13.8 last year.
I think things are looking up, just have to take it easy till the race season begins!!
Cheers, Fred.

The G-techs are quite accurate if you have them set up right! Be nice to see that bad boy on the dyno, see what she does!

Fred - there is a guy in BC (at least I think he is) that might be able to help you out with the APPS (around $200 or so) ....Timbo01 I believe his handle is on here.

No probs buddy, you keep the APPS sensor its a gift. I just wanted to see smoke roll out of the tail pipe buddy again. I knew that she looked fast when I tried to run with you. How much boost are you pulling? Mines starting to feel slow again. I might try different sticks shortly. Maybe its time....

Its just felt slow coming home today. Yesterday it was fast, today its slow, or something like that. I have a few parts laying around, its only beer. There so many different combos to run so little time. Did some hard core off hiway gravel bombing yesterday after helping Fred out (I just talked Fred's ear off). It made my day. Got air under the tires a few times, a few of these hills if you hit them with some decent speed, big air.
