Thanks, I think I'm going to get mine tested when I pull my tranny since the truck will be down for a while. What did you think of thier work and was it reasonable?

Just got the word from Forced that the turbos got shipped. Have most of the 03 truck twins mocked up, just need some time to install them. Probably only take a few days to finish that truck off. I can't wait, I'm pretty supprised that the twins set-up is very tight to the engine. Should fit any truck, even a 4th gen truck.

That pic from Mike does look awesome. The external wastegate on the Steed exhaust manifold looks great.

I must say that towing with twins is excellent. The only change to my truck this year is the BD Intercooler install, which is a story in itself.

When I'm towing, I'm still running Smarty Revo regular on level 7 (130HP) which dynoed at 450RW HP last fall for me.
I don't even need a pyro gauge at this point. The EGT's rarely go over a 1000 & even up a long hill with trailer with my foot completely in it, the EGT's won't go over 1200.

The Southbend dual disk gets a little intrusive at times but I'm used to it now.

For towing, twins are the answer.

Surprised you have issues with the DD, both of my 3250's have been buttery smooth. My 3600 is a bit more laboursome, but its a much heavier clutch, different style pressure plate.

Had to go to work. Been working some crazy hours as of late. Ya the steed manifold will give us clearance that we require for the bypass. I got the tracking number for the turbos, so hopefully we can get both truck done fairly quickly. The things we do for money. Funny thing is all winter, I had nothing for work. Now summer has arrived, its been fairly busy.

Zone 5 shutdown. pretty certain it was the exhaust leak at the DOC inlet causing grief. I didn't have a new v-band on hand. it should be replaced still.

......... and you better believe I'ma working with another guy in our calgary shop to kill egrs and dpfs in the ecm. I'll let ya know when we nail it

Nothing major, Tate, but I hate the rattle at idle with the pedal pushed in, still slow to shift, & it really rattles the tranny if I lug it below 1800 rpm or so with the trailer on the back.
The pedal pressure is fine (near stock), my wife can still drive the truck empty but you always know it's there.

The latest generation of SB dual disk's don't rattle at idle anymore. Brad (Goatbrain) has a newer gen street SB DD 3600 & it's quiet at idle with the pedal pushed in.
