Spring Dyno at AFI Edmonton
#316
Chapter President
Hated to leave early (again) but a good time meeting old and new contacts. It was good to have just the diesel heads there with some wrenching in the parking lots.. Thats more like it!. Dave did a bang up job setting up the event and was well done.
If we want to make it a more formal event, I was thinking T-shirts for our chapter group with our user name on it? Dunno. Then having a standard stack of sheets for everyone to sign up on for the Dyno operator to fill out the specs and numbers for each unit. Just a thought.
Sorry Tater, I had to run. Oh and Thanks Fred for making me look like a pansy with the tranny jack!... That audio system rocks!...
Those numbers look pretty impressive. I think some Hot-braking is required for those with larger single turbos to really get a good number and curve.

I'm mixing up user names to real names to faces to trucks already since Saturday, so I'm now thinking that the name tag idea is a good one.
Plus it's so easy to implement.
I notice that some folks have their real 1st name in their signature. This really helps, or finishing every post with your 1st name as I have the habit of doing.
Perhaps a list of usernames with corresponding real names?
ie.. Stealthdiesel = Joe. etc, etc..

multi gear pull
Here is a link to a 3-4-5 gear pull. Martin said there'd be too many spikes made if he tried to graph it so he didn't.
