Good guess, had no idea, just a shot in the dark. Never had the chance to put the truck on the rollers. Glad I came, first run was 349.84, second was 341.89, last was 350.55, didnt get any torque readings. Any guess what it would be around?

Probably around 650 give or take.... I had a great time, it was awesome to see you all again!

I think though that next time we should get a name tag system set up

Kevin
i think that is a great idea.

i also had a blast. it was my first time out and everyone i talked to made me feel welcome. too bad i couldn't make it for the after event - maybe next one. i'm already looking forward to another one!!!

thanx to dave and jason for gettin' it all setup for everyone else! (if i missed someone - sorry)

oh yeah - good thing joe printed some extra maps for those of us that got caught at one of the lights without a clue as where to go!

I'm new to this diesel stuff but after years in the Mustang crowd, I must say I'm totally enjoying the diesel folks, scene & technology.

It was great drive up, great weather & awesome day at AFI.

I enjoyed seeing the few guys that I know already & meeting all the new guys.
I'm technical by nature, still have tons to learn about diesels, so a huge thanks to all of those that answered all my questions!
Fred & Mike H. for all my 2nd gen questions, Tate for all my 12valve questions, Kevin for all my Common rail questions, etc, etc..
The AFI guys for all my dyno questions.

Nice meeting Mike Holman, great guy as advertised!! Kevin, Scott from Lloyd with the really nice big grean dually. Chris, Jason, Jamie, Dale, etc, etc...
Name tags are kinda lame but would help everyone... maybe next time..

Awesome trucks all around also.... Except maybe those Dmax's..

I'm very happy with my results & yes, Tate still thinks I'm a pansy for not turning up my Smarty past level 2!!
I'm still learning, kinda methodical, taking many notes from the passenger seat when I dyno, etc, etc.. I'm still working my way up...

Thanks again to Diesel Dave to setting it up.. Your dually looks awesome!!

Thanks for the pictures from Chris & setting the nice pace for the drive back home..
Thanks to the AFI guys. They were friendly, knowledgable, professional & they put in a long day for us.

Also nice meeting Daniela, & thanks to her for allowing me to check out her "equipment"!!
Just kidding!! Her new turbo & ceramic coated exhaust manifold look awesome.. Your 1st up at the next dyno meet!!..

I think that should sum up my thoughts, after a long day of house/yard/rv chores.... Joe

Twas a good time for sure, other than a few electrical issues with my truck later in the evening. Definitely have to do this again soon, I want to see where the 12v is sitting. I may even have an o-ringed head by then.

Thanks to John and Elaine to being troopers and coming out to Ft. Sask to watch the fights. My headlights never did work last night, so it was a good thing I was only a couple km down the road from the hotel instead of in Edmonton.

I never said that outloud, did I? Mine had a better chance of blowing up than yours did, and I made it home in one piece. Next time we'll have you convinced. I'm surprised Mike wasn't hounding you to crank it up either. Thats not like him to stay quiet!

Great pics Chris.

For the name tag idea, I was thinking we should get hats like Freds, get the username on one side and the real name on the other, Cummin's logo up front. Then we atleast then we will know the real loyalties of guys like Kevin driving the dmax's.

LOL,, I am never going to hear the end of the Dmax thing am i,, LOL,, thats ok, it put in a decent show.... and I know that i have something in the hole,, lol

I like the hat idea though,, except they dont really make them in my size,, but maybe we could do a nice tshirt though,, that would be neat,,, except that wouldnt help out the newcomers......

Still pretty much leaves the name tags, easy to make on a moments notice... just an idea to kick around

Tate,

Did you still drive your truck that night? I should have stuck around a little longer I guess. Seemed you knew exactly what you where doing all calm and casual poking around under the hood.

I got a few video's I will download them tomorrow. Sorry Kevin I didn't get one of your Dmax though.

Jamie how was the second go around with the air filter fixed? Wish I could of stayed to see it but the late night's have been starting to catch up to me.

I should of done a run with no electronics and the same on your buddy's it would of been interesting to see what that would of turned out.

Exact same numbers?? Need more turbo!!!
Those Mach 4.5's are just the perfect match to your turbo, aren't they!!!

Tate, my truck is bone stock just like mother mopar wanted, until its modified, I just do a good talk. Once its modified, then I'll crank up the speed/power talk. I was suprised on how much power I picked up on a small single 325ml methanol shot. I got 70rwhp extra. Next time I want to try some giggles and more fuel. I have to see what my spare parts truck can take some abuse.
