Smarty Jr; A Good Idea?

Hi Guys,
Just wondering if it's a good idea to go with a smarty jr for my truck. I don't want to get into tranny upgrades at the moment. Also, I plan on going with AirDog 100 in the future. And what's all this tuning and software I'm reading about? I need "Jimmy Neutron" to come up with some clarification on this stuff.
Andy

Just buy the Smarty SO-6 and turn it down on the lower settings. My clutch still does not slip so i think you will be ok with an extra 50hp if you drive nice.

I would rather get the normal smarty if you have the $. The new tunes you hear about are only for the normal smarty not the junior. You can get a used smarty here in the classifides for cheaper.

I have the Jr... and I like it except for the smoke on the economy setting.. its being worked by Marco thou...

The only thing I wish the Jr did was keep the wastegate enabled, but at 35 psi instead of 32 psi... But you cant even do that on the Sr.

I like my Smarty JR. Like others have said it is kinda smokey! But the low end power is nice and have already used it to clear some trouble codes......

On the 3rd beta tune now...

Just loaded SW#1 from beta 3 and went around the block, NO SMOKE!!... well a little at 1000 rpms in 6th at 30 mph

2700 feet, 61*, about 65% humidity... Just real light acceleration like normal and saw zero smoke... Very happy.. will report more as I get a few more miles on it.
