I've always used MOOG. R&R is just hard work, not much mental challenge really. Again, I will see what I can do for the weekend at least for a few hours.

So you've never had a single problem with moog? and that would be awesome! even for a hour or two

Moog ball joints and lifted trucks don't mix. All my Moog stuff wore out in 20,000kms with my 6" lift and 37" tires (twice). I went to XRF and haven't had a single issue, just my $.02....

On my 89, I replaced them every year for about 3 years, but it was warranty from MOOG. At the time, the 89 was a hybrid with some 1 ton front end parts and some 3/4 parts so the ball joints were not being designed properly. On my 93 I replaced them once and thats it. Both were 2WD. On my 97, I just did the first set at 350,000 km.

I think having larger rubber is a killer on any ball joint, especially as 3rd gen dodges are soft with OEM parts. Increased un-sprung weight and changes in offset will wear them out faster on any truck.

Thanks again guys for all the info without you I might survive but I'd prob end up making way more mistakes than needed lol and I have heard good things about moog and bad things so I really dunno but I think I'll go with the spicers
