The princess auto one can work on a common rail, it is listed as a 24valve pre common rail, I had to add some pipe to extend the nipple up though, can't remember why. The problem with it is there is no check valve in the adaptor for the cummins, so you only read the hit then it drops to zero then reads the next hit, I did find it usefull as a poormans leak down tester to find bad valves. we had a mac one and it too didn't have the check valve in it. I'm not too sure why they would make them that way, all the other adaptors have check valves.
