I was looking on the website,, they have some testers, but not one with the adaptor for our engines, or at least that I could see.

ISBs are the 98-02s? and ISBe is 02-07? Never been able to remember which each one is. Princess auto did have a compression tester on sale about 6 months ago. I almost bought I didnt think it would work on my 05. It had something like 6 different adapters. Don't know if they still carry it tho. All these cummins run all their gears up front their purple. I don't want to sound like an *****, just saying. I hate how a guy always sounds like an a** on a forum no matter how you try word it.

I too saw one at princess, had it in my hands and I'm certain it listed the cummins 5.9 on the box, I picked it up then put it down, hummed and hawed, but left it there(LOL)

The "E" stands for European, that what the Cummins instructor tells us. He showed us 1day in class on what all the prefixes stand in Cummins World, since there a worldwide engine, or so they claim, lol. Sorry, no help to you Kevin about compression testers thou.

I have always been under the impression that the 'e' was for Echo.

Purple, a lot of the CR's in ag and industrial applications have rear gear train, but not all. AFAIK, the Dodge 6.7 is the only 6.7 with a front gear train.
