differents in 160hp and 215hp p-pump
I don't know what the differences are, most people talk as if they are the same pump. 15hp difference might just be a differente plate position. Or maybe timing differences between the two. Timing chart lists 160/175 pumps the same, except for emissions 160 pumps.
Tate, I have a 215HP, 913 pump we can take a peek at. Find someone with a 160 pump and we can compare. Sounds like a good way to spend an afternoon. Be a good way to document whats a stock unmessed around 913 pump. Anybody know where we can find instructions or diagrams for the pump? You probably have to be licenced in Bosch repairs. I've been thinking about doing a rebuild on the 913 anyways.

The P7100 pump are tuffer to find and collect. I was one of the computer guys until I saw this mechanical stuff. I like the engineering in this 12v engine. I think you could build one bad truck out of one of these 12v engines. Wrap a 3000 lbs body around it. Dana 80 for a rear. 33X14in slicks. It would be a fun ride and use for a daily driver after.

To time, you change the position of the pump shaft on the pump gear. Timing is static, but like I said earlier, the 215 have retard notches in them that will retard timing with more rack travel. The rest of the pumps are flat top plungers and won't do this. That also allows the 215's a bit more fill time, in addition to the cam design.
I have a 913 that will be overhauled. You think we could take a look at it without wrecking it? Most will be replace with different stuff anyways. I'm game. If you want to use a plasma torch on it I might have to think twice on that but ripping it apart to see whats inside is ok with me. Mine is just a core. I'm am ok with spare with cutting up T04 HX-40 turbine casing, P7100, 913 nope.
