Re:What Kind of Power from 160hp Pump??
I dunno...with my 95' Banks Powered Dodge Ram Turbo Diesel i put out 500 horse, with just the Stinger Plus Kit..no propane and stock turbo/tranny...Gale told me the stock turbo should withstand almost anything ... : ....AND i can pull a 8,000lbs dump trailer up the grapevine WOT and never see over 1250 on the pyro..it's a great performance package/value for the $$ :P legal notice..all the above was a joke..just in case someone can't take a joke
in all reality man, i can't wait to dyno...with those laser cuts ...hehe...we'll really clean out ol' man Imler's shop next time! ;D

Re:What Kind of Power from 160hp Pump??
I have the 180hp pump and have pulled 390hp on the dyno. I still have the stock turbo so I have to dial it down when just driveing around/pulling my trailer.<br>My hope is to get to 450 or so and STOP. :<br>DM01

PSYCHORAM:<br><br>"Rammin On" has a 160 pump on his 95' and I know<br>he last dynoe'd near 400 H.P. He just installed a<br>"newer" 160 pump which Scheid Diesel built for<br>him and I would say he is near or above 450 H.P.<br>now. Hopefully he will see this thread and post<br>for you. His truck runs extremely well! <br><br>--------<br>John_P

Re:What Kind of Power from 160hp Pump??
I have the 160HP pump but I have not put mine on a Dyno yet. Plan on doing so soon. I called piers to ask for some advice and told them what I had done and they told me I should be around 350HP or so. They said once I put in the 4k gsk I will be at 425HP. Once I put the 4k gsk in I will put it on the dyno. Sorry I can not help more but yes there are still a few 160HP pump guys out there.

Re:What Kind of Power from 160hp Pump??
I made 391 on the dyno with a stock 160 pump with a #4 plate and 191 delivery valves - 439HP at the track @ 14.72 in the 1/4 mile. When I put in the 4K springs .... they made no difference on the dyno .....
I need to get back to a dyno and the track to see where I am now ...
Life is good .... keep on smokin!

Rammin On:
Where was your timing set up at?
If i plug in my track times i come up with 607hp to the rear wheels...that sounds high to me
