How fast did he get the truck to go? If he got into the low 9's, he might get the 50-60k that he wants, if the truck isn't to wrecked but who knows, my neighbor just bought a fresh 68 camaro with a 502 big block for $50k, nice car, but thats a lot of money for a toy.

 

The fastest he has gone is somewheres around a 10.9 with it... I would look very seriously at 30k for my truck as it sits... with the turbos it is a 9 second truck

 

Kev, I saw a mint 03 quad cab black laramie in victoria go for $23k, low miles. I almost bought that truck. Man it was a nice truck. It still had on original tires on it. I rather get an 03 or 04 than a newer truck (basically the same truck). So in a nut shell, I don't why you want to sell your truck? Your's the last time I saw it was a nicer truck than the one in Victoria. Put in some hard pulls at the track, you'll have one big smile.

 

What kind of turbos you planning for your rig Kev?

 

Mike, the main reason I would sell it is money... I am struggling to get money together to purchase turbos and the such... and all the other things I should be doing with the money..

Kev, I hear ya on the money. Just take your time at it. Things will come together, just keep plugging away at it. Worst case you can always build another truck, but better than the last one.

 

Well, I gave him a week before I checked with mastercard, and i guess it came back the day of the start of this thread. Now thats service,. If he just would have done 6 months earlier.
