Problems with Dr. Performance 2021 Module

I am running the Dr. Performance 2021 module on my 07 5.9L and i have recently started to experience when i stack it with my diablo and really get in it, the P0148 code will be thrown which is a Fuel Delivery error. Anyone else experiencing this i talked to dr. performance after about 30 calls today and only cusing at the audimated answering machine and leaving several messages I finally got a person to answer and not a dang audimated machine. Their solution was sending the module back and reflashing it(remember it is on 3 months old) and by them reflashing it the module will still set the code but it will be cleared by flicking the module to tow mode then back to performance again after a hard pass. . Does this sound silly to anyone else or just me? Any body seeing these problems?

If you ask me, it is the Diablo setting off the code not the Dr. P module. I have experienced that same code as well as several other guys I know while running the Diablo Predator. Diablo says we are having fuel delivery issues and that it is not their programmer. I can understand the fuel supply issues, but not on the tow/economy setting.

Lol. Yeah I love how the techs act like they know everything. I'm not sure then on your codes. I just know that my Predator threw that same code in my truck as well as two other trucks. Took it off and haven't had the code since.

CReed,

Dr Performance will take care of you, don't give up. If you need I can make a call I used to own a company that was a distubuter for Dr Perfomance, they have great dealer support, so if need anything let me know, I'm in Humble, Tx. On a side note do you know Josh Danner?

Ok so apparently all 2021 modules from Dr. Performance are defaulted to the performance option which is usually the level that sets the code. Dr. performance tech told me this afternoon send it in and they will default it to the tow option. Not a clue what any of these means and when i asked him he gave me some more gebirish just like the last tech i talked to this morning. TxGreyGhost I may take you up on that offer i cant seem to get the same answer over the phone each person i talk to says something different. Maybe you can get ahold or put me in contact with the right guy at Dr. P my buddies distributor is going to call dr. p tommorow for us hopefully he will have good news for me. As of right now no matter what they do I dont want to see this code again due to the module and from what they have told me all they can do is rearange some stuff and this will allow me to clear it with just toggle switch instead of having to bust out the downloader everytime that gets annoying everytime you get into it. Their other option they gave me was to drive around with the check engine light on. LOL. All i want is the box fixed with no check engines light every time i get into it.

I don't have the numbers on hand but I can get you the numbers, the head guy in charge in is a guy by the name of Cater, can't think of his last name. i'm not sure what is on that truck performance wise. It has a Skyjaker long arm lift 38 mtz's with 20x10 mazzi hulks.

Do you have any aftermarket fuel pump mods? If not you are demanding a lot of to be supplied through the stock set up. If you are running the stock set up I would recommend looking to into a GDP, FASS or what ever suits your needs. But that code means you are not suppling the fuel demanded and the truck is setting a delivery error code because the supply is not meeting what is demanded.

Im pretty sure that the rail pressure isnt falling off buddy has similar setup and maintains 25k psi easy i will be adding a GDP to the truck when I do Injectors but not doing that for awhile gotta save up for tranny, etc. But I do see what you mean and the Dr. P techs didnt seem concerned about the pressures believe me i asked if this could cause this problem.

I wasn't refering to your rail pressure dropping. I was refering to your stock lift pump suppling 8-10 psi max and you are stacking to different power adders which just one of them alone is probably capable of running you down to 0-2 psi. Which would mean the truck is not getting what it desires and can cause a fuel delivery error. Just trying to help from what I have seen on many trucks and what I have seen make a difference.

I agree with cummins dsl the lack of fuel at the CP3 will cause that code. I got it when the relay for my FASS messed up and it didn't run.
