I just wanted Dave smile for abit about smoken a vette with the veggie fry smell. It will make you feel better about smoking a clutch and pulling wrenchs for a while. Its too sweet of a ride to give up on yet bud as it was one of coolest looking rides at the last DTR met.

I would run the DD injection pump and use the big nasty smoken DD sticks. I have the hot rod diesel pulsing in my blood and its hard for me not to convince others to following along on my path.

If I only knew a year ago,I would of went with a dragonfly pump instead of a stock 175 rebuilt pump.At the time a higher perforamce pump was $2000 plus. The difference was only about $300. now for a dragonfly pumpBut with the lasercuts in the 175 and the plate all the way forward,it seems to flow way more fuel . For now I may leave it at 335HP and go to 450HP later.I'm finding the drive tran is getting lose and a overhaul of the engine rear seal, transmission overhaul kit and new flywheel and clutch needs to be done.I have to start ordering this stuff soon....Looks like its going to be a expensive overhaul, but thats life...

You could just pull out the laser cuts, slipping clutch would stop slipping. My front end is toast. I omitted to myself that I have to buy new tires anyways, so why worry about it. I think I might need new rotors too. I'm thinking about upgrading to 3 gen brakes and go all out on the suppension. If I can't win at the dyno I might try to at least pretend that I drive a cool ride. I have friends that can't believe that there are diesels as noisy as my truck. One day there will only have a few trucks that clank tee clank at our mets.

Yep...peak has a good price. Also they are pricing at par.Looking at getting a MU13-1.25 Con OFE.Harry was surprised that my stock clutch with 735 FT LBs was still alive.

I am too! But you aren't beating it up so you won't have any issues. They report the stock clutch can take 750 ft-lbs, but i have never seen that happen.
