Geeze how the world turns!

If you need the help, there are a lot of business owners and contacts in the DTR and ABDiesel groups that could probably at least got a few calls for a new job.

For me I installed this on the 08.. Bully Locking Tailgate Handle. Its not Fort Knox but it at least keeps them honest. My 97 has a paddle lock clasp under the locking cover.

Don't you just need a clean driver’s abstract these days? Maybe pass a physical? I think some courts in Alberta have found that pre-employment drug-screening tests somehow contravenes human rights. I know here we used to have regular drug and alcohol screening and a whole swack of "zero tolerance" policies that have all quietly disappeared in the past couple of years....

I dont know...I think a lot of employers are still wanting a drug and alchohol test especially if you are in a safety critical position. This isnt about just your safety but also the safety of other coworkers in many cases.

Offtopic - AGAIN !.....

I do like the Dr Evils wee band clamp idea but perhaps the best method might be to fabricate the old style folding metal links to replace the tail gate cables. Rather than have them so they can be slipped off make them so the actual torx bolts have to be removed. In fact why isn't anyone selling them? You could load whatever you want onto the tail gate and also avoid having it stolen. 2 birds with one shot.

I can't afford to pay any more tax so I'll give up the royalties for a couple of sets.
