I used sheet metal screws to hold my panels on my 69 dodge bee, today eastwood sells clips that do the same thing. How did you cut the quarter panel? I used the body line as my cutting edge, plus 1/8in. I could easy blend in the welding. I also drilled holes into the new panel to look like factory spot welds in the door jam area. Its kinda like metal legos for adults. Hopefully the panels fit together decently. You gonna put in larger wheel well tubs for larger rear tires or you just going the stock route? I can't wait to see how it turns out buddy.

I have two ways to cut my panels...I have both a air cutoff wheel and body cutoff tool..Going to try something different with the panels.Going to use a combo of welding and panel adhesion. This car wouldn't be butchered with larger tires or any other body mods...Its going back to complete orginal stock with orginal 8-track,AM radio and even all the orginal emissions ,that this car came with in 1977...Good thing I kept all this stuff..

Just checking on what you're up to buddy. I like resto-mod stuff. I don't like stock stuff, I never could figure that part outbut saying that the old original stuff is were the value is at. Ever watch the barrett and jackson car auction http://www.barrett-jackson.com/#

The big buck mod cars go for nothing, but the original muscle cars, are the big buck stuff. I watch too much TV these days.

Well...I got back on this project...Sure a pain when your dealing with 3 aftermarket parts...Both the wheel well and truck filler where bent about 2 inchs to far out...Had to section the wheel well back 2 inchs and re-welded.I already sectioned the filler panel but haven't welded it yet...Body is flanged and ready for the quarter panel...At least I know what to expect when I do the passengers side......I also got the Holmen curse.......drinking beer in the garage...Thanks Rob for the 90 degree air grinder...Works slick..
