6.7L and dyed fuel

So i have traded up from my 06 5.9L to a 10 6.7L and have heard mixed things about burning dyed fuel in it. Whats the scoop? Can you do it? Any problems?

In AB as long as the dyed fuel is ULSD for the DPF you'll be ok. Get stopped by the weight enforcement or highway traffic boys and you will have some explaining to do if you get your fuel tank dipped.

To get around dipping filter some used motor oil and add about a litre per tank. Turns the fuel black so you can't see the dye.

On the blitzes they have in Lacombe with the truck cops and local PD, they busted a couple guys running dyed fuel. But not that often.

I would only be concerned with the ULSD, make sure the fuel is that spec and then fill your boots, er ah tank..

I've yet to have my tank dipped when I've been pulled over, they seem more concerned about the tint/exhaust etc, lol. If I had a source on farm fuel I'd be running it all day every day lol.
