Turn signal light on side mirrors

I would have figured that Dodge would have made the lights on the side view mirrors stay on when the lights are on (like on the Fords). But since they didn't, is there any way to get them to stay on that anyone has figured out?

Hmmm - doesn't look like anyone has an idea. Since the lights in the mirrors only have the turn signal circuit going to them (in addition to the courtesy lamp circuit), you'd have to tap into the marker lamp circuit somewhere underneath the dash (tough but not impossible) and run an additional circuit through the jamb up into the door and into the mirror, and if you didn't mind the lights not flashing with the signals if the lights were on you could just put a diode on the circuit from the signal - otherwise, you'd have to put another bulb in there or another socket that is set up like tailights for two different inputs...seems like a lot of trouble...

Has anyone done this yet? I would like to be able to the lights in the mirrors come on when the parking/driving lights are on and also function as turn signals.
