Cargo light 17' 3500

I had to buy an aftermarket cargo/brake light. It doesn't work. I'm guessing I need to buy the proper switch and replace the headlamp control. Is there anything else I need to do , to get it to work?

2017 ram 3500 gas 6.4 hemi. What else would you like?

Well......I was primarily inquiring if it were a regular pickup or a Cab & Chassis.

It's a utility body. However I don't think that's relevant because I'm looking to figure out the cargo lamp switch because since it's considered a commercial vehicle it didn't come with a third brake light. I installed one. I just ordered a lamp and cargo switch online. The truck didn't originally come with one. Looking to find out if someone knows how to get it going. The chassis has nothing to do with that. If you can't help that's fine

In a nutshell.....there will need to be sales codes updated within the BCM to enable certain options available, including the 3rd brake light and cargo lamps, and possibly even the different headlight switch.
