Ride height with snow plow prep?

Do the heavy springs in the plow package raise the height of the truck. I'm looking at buying a truck with the plow package (locate truck hours away) and am wondering if I should do a level kit...the dealer agreed to install, but if doesn't need it then I wont do it....

And how much stiffer are they...if much then sounds like I need to change them out for softer longer springs.....

Plow prep consists of a higher output alternator and skid plates. Suspension is unchanged. I run a 9 foot Boss V plow and it drops it about 2.5 inches. You don't NEED a lift.....

I put a set of Timbren elastomeric springs on my truck to help carry my 8'2" Boss V. They do a good job, and I feel that they smoothed out the unloaded ride too. Easy install...jack up the truck by the frame, pull out the factory bump stops, insert the Timbrens and let the jack down and the truck's weight pushes the Timbrens into place.
