Previous owner of an 07 Mega Dually. Now in the market for a new Dually. Kinda confused about the new cab configurations though. How much bigger is the Crew over the Quad? And then how much larger is Mega compared to Crew? I've been trying to hunt the web for comparison pics but cannot find anything helpful. Any useful info out there?

If it helps any, I had an 08 mega dually and now I have a 10 crew cab. My crew cab has more room than my dads 06 4dr duramax and about the same room if not exactly the same room as an f-250. I didnt really see the need for the mega this time due to the room that the crew cabs have now. You should go check them out and see what you think. Its a big difference now in the 2010 crew cabs vs the previous yr model crew cabs.

I think the room between the mega and crew are very close. The advantage of the mega is the seats fold flat and you can recline the seats. I believe the leg room of both are very close. The crew you can fold the seats up and you have storage bins underneath the seats. I guess it comes down to what features you like better. If you are going to transport adults often on long trips I think the mega may have the advantage but I am happy with my crew. By the way I had an 06 mega-cab and I also liked the mega. Mega cost more too.

The last time I was at the Dodge dealership I drove a 2010 crew cab. It looks like to me the back seat has the leg room close to my Megacab, it just doesn't have the space behind the back seats.

I ended up going with the Crew Cab because the leg room was about the same in both. I did need the behind the seat space. So it is just a matter of perference. The crew is so much roomier than my club cab was.

I looked at this when I bought my 2010 crew. There is 0.4 in of additional legroom in the megacab vs crew. The extra space is behind the seats allowing you to recline and lay the seats down flat.

The difference is the leg room is pretty much the same. The rear seat in a Crew Cab is recessed in the middle of the truck- the Mega goes straight across. The other difference is that the Mega Cab seats recline a little with storage behind the seats. The price difference is about 50.00 on a Loaded crew-mega 3500 Larmie!! The difference is more on a 2500 slt. Hopes this helps I looked at a lot of trucks before getting my 2010 3500 Mega-Cab

Can't speak to the Mega dimensions (others have), but I can tell you the Crew Cab is ten inches longer than the Quad Cab. That ten inches is largely in the rear seat area - noticeably bigger.

Aside from the cab dimensions, I really appreciate the Mega cabs fold flat seats, and the nice storage room behind the seats. Which is perfect for when you fill your truck with friends that are carrying large purses or back packs.

The deciding factor for me was that Megas don't come in Long Bed versions. The Crew Cab rear is about the same as the Mega except for the aforementioned storage area (small IMO) and rear seat recline/fold flat. Both interiors are about the same, it just came down to the Long Bed option....

I sat in the drivers seat and positioned it where I would drive, then I sat in the back seat of both the mega and then crew cab. I am just over 6 feet tall and I felt there was way more room in the mega cab. Plus I thought the seats were more comfortable in the back.
On the laramie the price was about the same so I went with the mega cab and love it.

Dodges crew cab is such a improvment over the quad cab, I don't think a person can go wrong either way.

I looked at both and didn't really think the Mega was that Mega compared to the new Crew Cab. The front dimensions are exactly the same. The rear is a little different. Here's the diff:

I read that as 3 more inches leg room (actually more than the front seat area) and 12 inches of storage behind the seats. FWIW....
