Hey there, hope the new trucks are treating you all well. Had a question for someone with a new truck and access to an old truck. I see the new trucks come with clear cab lights. Does it look like they would work on the older trucks? If you have the inclination to try it, Awesome! but an eyeball comparison or tape measure would be good enough. My second set of Recons are wasted and my stock orange ones are back on for now but id like to know my options for the future.

I don't have another truck to compare it with but if no one else chimes in tomorrow Ill take a measurement and post some close ups for you...

 

My question is what it would take to add them to a truck that came without? Is the plug under the dash for the harness?

 

you will probably have to wire it up if no lights are currently present. as far as interchangeable, i would guess on how well the new lights seal against the roof. You would probably want to get the whole assembly, seal, base and lens. Depending on the contour of the roof will determine how well it will seal.
