I might suggest putting the camper on and taking the service tech out for a ride and let him experience your problem!

So, took the truck to the dealer yesterday. Turns out that the entire steering mechanism starting from the steering wheel down was canted to the left. Mechanic was very surprised and said it should not have left the factory like that. The steering was realigned and all front end parts checked. The steering is much tighter with very minimal wander!! I am happy so far. It will be interesting to see how it goes with the camper on. The mechanic also recommended dropping the front tire pressures 5-7 psi when the camper is on, which was also a recommendation of one of the posters here. Looking forward to trying that on th next camping trip!
