Doesn't the power wagon option come with a hide-a-way winch?
Look at the MOPAR catalog for their winch bumper - no modification req'd to install.

Yes, I am aware of that. That's the reason I'm asking if anyone has any experience with any an aftermarket winch bumper. I'm basically going to build my own version of the power wagon, except with a Cummins !

Why is that? Just curious... Does the diesel have a larger radiator or something that uses that area up front behind the bumper. I'll have to look at the PW next time I'm at the dealer - interesting...

Yes there is a larger radiator that drops down behind the bumper.

i am having the same problem. i want a hidden winch on my truck as well but havent found a solution yet. the only thing that i have found so for is a hide away hitch for the front and just keep the winch in the tool box.

There are a couple of companies making aftermarket winch bumpers for the diesel 2500. I was hoping to get some feedback from someone on here that had personal experience with some of the bumpers.

I listed some of the web pages for the bumpers I have found so far, hope this might help you. I'm still open to any experience anyone has had with any of these bumpers.

I had the FabFour bumper on my 2006. I just bought a 2010 yesterday, so I went to their website........their 2010 bumpers are ugly as hell. not sure what they were thinking. I am going to go with a throttle down kustoms.

The intercooler happens to occupy the space that the winch needs.

Altho I don't plan to put a winch bumper on, I read this thread with interest because I plan(ned) to put a receiver hitch on the front along with the mounting brackets to connect my tow bar to tow it behind the motorhome. Now I'm worried if there's something in the way there. I know the hitch and tow bar brackets can be put lower, but I was hoping to have them about the height of the license plate. (those additional brackets on the frame for the snow plow connection might be used for this)
Thanks for the heads up guys.

Why don't you just tow the motorhome behind the Dodge? Problem solved. LOL

Fusion Bumpers offers a HD bumper w/receiver hitch if you don't need the winch. It fits snugly and hugs the body contours.
