Delete time

I've been searching a lot lately and I think I've got it all figured out, on my '12 with 41000km, it's a hauling truck, it hauls my camper and a 30' 5th wheel trailer. I'm not looking for power I just want milage and drivability. I have ordered a raceme tuner, flo-pro down pipe and dpf delete pipe, sinister Egr and throttle valve delete kits, factory matched pyro, tranny, and boost gauges. I hope this will do me good, any input would be helpful. Love this site thanks folks

Well, since nobody cared. I went and did it anyway. Installed the Egr and cooler delete, throttle valve and dpf delet all went very well. At 45000km, there was still a fair amount of soot in the intake horn. I also installed isspro factory match gauges which look and function great... I have no regrets at all

Glad you're happy, seems everyone who deletes is. I think with EFI out for these trucks and now with the 2010 model trucks running out of warranty this year, you will see many more being deleted.

Just in the process of doing my 2010.I'm going over most of the bolts with penetrating oil as I seem to have bad luck with seized bolts. Did you have any problem bolts?

No all was good never broke any bolts never sprayed them either. The hardest part was pulling the down pipe off the turbo that has the cat in it I believe. I had to drop the tranny mount to get it out. But other then that it was pretty simple. I have put on about 20000km and the truck runs way better and better mileage and pulls like it should

What are you deleting? The two trucks in your signature don't need no stinkin' deletes (well, except the cat on the 2006).

Just got a 12. What did you spend in parts for the delete. I very well may do mine.

Every one I've done, has been 1200-2000 in parts depending on choice of options.

I did everything myself and it cost me right around 2000$ Canadian with delete pipes, sinister erg delete, sinister throttle valve delete, and raceme tuner

I just acquired a lease buyout 2012 laramie..... price was hard to pass up at $22500 with 55k miles 68fe 4x4 QC SB

two things on my agenda.....

Emissions compliant.
NV5600/271 swap

incognito delete setup w/ mild tuner

obviously ill still have to spin a wrench every two years and weld back in the DPF but the few hours is worth the cleaner run.

so i’ll be following if you have any issues and your mileage feedback down the road

Drive the 68rfe after delete with transmission tuning and I'll bet you won't want to do the swap.
