adjustable turbo boost control elbow

Does anybody have experience or input on the adjustable turbo boost control elbows?

I have a stock (no deletes, no programmer) 2010 laramie and this seems to be a good and cost effective (less than $30) way to help improve performance. My understanding is this will give a little better throttle response. My primary goal is to improve fuel efficiency, though. I figure if my MPG improves as little as .1 or .2, the boost elbow will pay for it's self.

Also, I have read to not push the stock turbo above 32psi. Since I don't want to cause an expensive mechanical failure from installing a $30 part, and since I don't have turbo boost gauges, how do I tell if the turbo is getting pushed too hard?

At any rate, I would appreciate any input or comments.

Thanks

Boost elbow? Never heard of it for the 6.7. I have seen the Quadzilla boost fooler that ups boost a bit, but just boost alone won't do anything for mileage. The Computer controls of the HPCR engine needs the tickle to get improved mileage.

never mind...

Forget about this question.... I just found out the adjustable boost elbows do not work on electronically controlled turbos....they are not for the 6.7s.

There is no wastegate on the HE351VGT turbo, its all variable turbine housing. Its been awhile since they had boost actuvated wastecontrollers.
