Happy with MPG #'s thus far

I got smart again and just switched back to a Ram with the CTD after a short loss of all common sense while owning an F150 with the Not so eco Ecoboost motor. From mile #3 till I dumped it with a dealer at 35,xxx miles, I struggled to get anywhere between high 8's to mid 12's around town with some short highway trips, and towing my 20' flatbed with 800 gallons of water on board for a total distance of 10 miles once a week. I did get 22.1 MPG down to San Antonio and 21.9 MPG coming home to KC.....A/C was cranked both ways. I was running my speed for economy....I had 5 of us in the cab with a few hundred pounds of luggage in the bed....so I wasn't too upset with that really. My major gripe with the ecoboost is how finiky they are with adding weight to the bed, a trailer, larger tires/wheels etc... Anything at all that will force the turbos to spin up in a higher PSI over just basic idle, will cause the MAP sensors to read this boost and start dumping fuel to combat knock retard caused by low octane. Along with that problem, Ford has buried their heads in the sand over the ecoboost chugging concerns while driving in wet/damp conditions. The best part about the fix that Ford came up with was to cover up////bock////restrict air into and through the charge air cooler (intercooler). This idea was a way to increase the temp of the air coming in so as to combat any moisture that will be at the bottom of the intercooler waiting to get either sucked/[pushed into the motor. I could go on and on, but I'm not. I now own a 2015 Ram 3500 SRW CTD, Aisin HD auto tranny, 4x4, CC, LB with options just like I prefer. With not even 1500 miles on this guy I'm almost seeing 19> MPG with a cautious foot not trying to break any speed records. So far I am thrilled with that.

On the 2013 or 14 that uses the DEF fluid can you still do a dpf and egr delete and somehow not have to use the DEF fluid? Just trying to figure out if I should buy a 2012 or older that I know I can do those performance modifications to. I prefer to have the newer interior of the 2013 and 2014.
You can now fully delete 2013-2015 Cummins 6.7. Couple (2 exactly) guys around here have fully deleted their 2013's. DEF fluid and all...gone.

EFI live has a programmer. I don't know much about it, but heard that they love their trucks even more.

I wonder if they did anything about the traction control?

What I found out: (FROM AN EFI GUY)
"No because that system is outside of the scope what efilive is concerned with. Best way to do that is to run a switch to control the abs relay"

Thanks, that's very interesting I will have to do some research on that, if all that's required is a relay and a "towing" switch then it's simple if there are no ill side effects.
