How to identify a 2011.5?????

Hello everyone - I am looking a used 2011 but want to know if it is a 2011 or a 2011.5 since I believe there are some changes between the 2 trucks.

What is the torque output on the 2011 vs the 2011.5 single rear wheel 4x4 automatic.

If it matters, I am looking at a longhorn interior package.

THanks everyone
Scott

It'll have a "HighOutput" badge (or something to that effect) on the tailgate if I remember correctly. Also I think the build date on the door sticker will be 2/11(?) or later.

Given the choice between the two trucks, go with the high output of course. I think they had an upgraded torque converter as well. But the "standard output" was no slouch, don't let that stand in the way of getting one.

Does anyone know the output rating of 2011 vs 2011.5?

Sohappy - I looked at the tailgate and it has a badge on the lower left corner but I can not tell if it is HO or just the Longhorn bag.

It will be on the right hand side of the tailgate bottom. It will say High Output Cummins Diesel. My truck is the HO and has 800 lb ft of torque.

Here is a picture of my tailgate for reference.

Thanks - I do not see the badge on the truck tail gate.

Lets assume it is a 2011 (non HO), what would the torque output be?

Being March 2011 it's a crap shoot really. The year wasn't broken up into a true half year like other model years. Early 2011's (February and earlier is what's been said before) had the 650 ftlb rating and later ones after February had the 800 ftlb rating. That's just for the auto trans trucks though which is what yours has. That being said, I do believe that all of the 800 ftlb trucks were badged with the HO badging but I don't know for sure. If you have a copy of the VIN, there are some VIN deciphering tools on the web which would tell you what motor is in there for sure. Also, maybe someone on here would know too. If it's at a dealer they should be able to produce the original build sheet which would also divulge that information.

VIN is 3D7UT2HL1BG584321

I tried using the online VIN decoding tools and did not have any luck. Truck is private party.
