difficult to engage 2nd and reverse. clutch?

All,

My 2010 3500 4x4 6 speed manual has about 6,000 miles on it. It is very difficult to get into 2nd or reverse. Is there a way to adjust these hydraulic clutches?

What does the dealer say? You're still under warranty by a long ways. Only 3,000/miles per year?? Maybe it's just stiff from lack of use

Will it easily engage those gears with the engine switched off?

Where do you live?
Meaning is it cold out?
My G56 is a little stiff going into gear or shifting if left outside at 30deg or below until it's run down the street for a mile or so.
6000m isn't even near being broke in, at all.
There's some threads about the G56 that reccomend different fluids etc to ease cold shifting plus filling it a quart over full.
I've changed my trans fluid the last 2 times using synthetic ATF to full and then an extra qt of Lucas trans oil/fix. Was reccomended by a hot shotter on here and I noticed it was easier to shift it cold than before.
If it's difficult all the time, then I dunno. Have had no problems with mine in over 100k miles.

There was a TSB for the G56 jumping out of reverse and in that TSB it mentions to be careful with second gear and not to do something?? while replacing the reverse gear synchro, I forget but the two are connected. Go see the dealer.
