Your thoughts on 2008 Dodge 2500 Diesel MegaCabs
I was thinking of buying a Dodge 2500 Megacab with the legendary cummins turbo diesel after owning Fords since I was 15 now being 30 Im thinking its time for a change. I own a 2003 crewcab powerstroke first diesel truck that I owned all the other previous Ford vehicles were gassers I was impressed with all that new found power that turbo diesels produce my truck has 40s and it pull those tires with ease the only thing keeping me from buying a Dodge is that individuals on a Ford site that I frequent informed me that the interior in the Dodges are inferior compared to Fords and quality is lower is those statements true or false anyone here have there likes and dislikes about their 2008 2500 diesel megacabs any feed back will be appreciated thanks.

Fords have always had nice interiors and lots of guys still think they are nicer than the Dodges. I know a guy with a new King Ranch Dually that is totally decked out and his interior is very similar to ours. I don't really dig the two-toned seats myself so I like the Dodge better. I wouldn't trade if I were given the choice......

The interior is OK. I have the Laramie and like the heated leather seats. I also like the Sirius satellite radio. I haven't been in the Fords so don't have anything to compare.
The A/C is a bit slow to cool the large cabin of the mega cab. It helps A LOT to use a sun screen on the windshield. There is also a mod discussed on the forums that shuts off the heater core to coolant flow in the summer which is supposed to help greatly.
Otherwise, MC is great. Lots of room for kids, dogs, adults, stuff you don't want in the bed, etc.

Love everything inside and outside on my 2007.5 RAM 3500 SRW MegaCab. The bucket seats and Laramie options are nice.........
Besides, the 6.7L can do more than the 6.4L Ford with two less cylinders and one less turbo.

Funny that was their best argument ... tell them to go sit in a chevy....Fords are not much (in any way)to write home about.... if I could blend the best truck it would be 60% Dodge and 40% chevy....

I bought the CTD but the truck came with it. However, I do think Ford makes a better truck than Dodge but not the International engine it comes with. Now if they come with a CTD I would have bout a Ford. So a Mega Cab sits in my driveway.

I do think that Ford makes a better interior. A/C in the Ford is much better than the Dodge. Cupholder layout, seat cushions, side view mirrors, etc are better in the Ford. Hands down the the Cummins is the better of the engines, and hence the Mega is sitting in my garage...
