Would this work?

Comments and opinions please.

Since our wheels are supposedly Lug-centric instead of Hub-centric, what would you guys and gals think about using this 1/4" spacer for Hummer H2 wheels instead of routing/machining/dremeling etc. the hub hole? Pros/cons, especially the cons...

Thanks!

The big center hole in the rim is too small to fit over the hub on the rears of our trucks. That's why it has to be opened up. The bolt pattern is exactly the same so all these would do is make the wheels stick out a bit more but the rims still aren't going on without being opened up...

I have spacers like these in front to accommodate my Cetramatic balancers and they space the wheel out past the hub. This made me nervous at first but the wheel/tire combo mounted this way is fine for the last 8k miles. My spacers are about 3/16ths. I do not remember how deep the hub is in the back.

I so need to order 1 of these. My spare rubs on the aftermarket knuckle of the lift kit.

Oops my bad! I popped a front wheel center cap off to look at it/measure. I Didn't pop off a rear until a few mins ago. Been a while since I last rotated the tires and I forgot just how far the rear hub sticks out. I am embarrassed, I'll chalk it up to old age sneaking up on me... I need some "extra memory" installed... Now if only my wife would let me get a sweet young assistant to keep track of things like this...
