Would it work?
If I ran a 5" exhaust that exited in front of the rear tire but ran one of these before it, would it cut down on the drone and what not?

Several have done the "Exit in front of the tire" mod.
Everyone I know that did it, changed it back or went with duals or stacks because it became impossible to keep the right rear wheel & fender clean.
