What tire pressures are you running in your 315 BFG All Terrains?

Currently I'm running 45 front and 37 rear unloaded. I'm thinking I can drop the rear down to 35 unless anyone disagrees with me .

The front is what has me wondering... Either my alignment being out wore them wrong or I don't know... But it looks like at 7K miles they have been ran under inflated a bit. They are rated at 3195lbs @ 50 psi, so I'm right there.

What is everyone else running in these? I know they aren't the best tire for these trucks but the price was right on them.

Thanks in advance!

I'd like to see pics of that, I bet they look like they are flat.

I'd like to make mine last for a little while (at least till the sidewalls let out )... And when I see uneven tires I think take care of your stuff.

Besides that I don't think running that low of pressure is safe considering you've got around 5,500 lbs on the front axle. Even the factory E rated tires were close to max capacity with that heavy anchor of a motor.

Hmm, ok.

I checked your gallery for pics but you have none so I'll just take your word on it.

I run mine at 50psi, always have run them at the mfr rec max. Have 20K on them so far, rotate them regularly - 6-7K intervals when changing my oil. Still have lots of tread depth, down about 15% from new. I check the depth with a gauge every time I rotate them, they are wearing just like every set of them that I have had in the past on my other trucks, given me great mileage/use. I have a set on a Ford F350 that are right at 50K and still have plenyt of usable tread, will probably be replacing them when the next rotation is due.

Rednecktastic - no pics in my gallery either, so you don't need to waste your time looking.

i was running 50 psi when i first threw them on the truck. after about a week i knew i would end up wearing the middle of the tire out so i dropped it to 45 psi. seems fine for now.

I've always driven a truck. 80 PSI is no big deal. Ride and tire wear are fine. I rotate them every 5,000 miles.

I have 325 Toyo A/T (35", 50 psi max @ 3,300lbs. Slightly more than BFG). I run my front @ 45psi and rear 35psi. Rotate every 6,000 miles and the wear is good.
I wouldn't go under 40psi in the front end w/ the D rated tires since the front end weight is almost the capacity load on the tire rating. Unless offroading. The rear you could go to 30psi unloaded, but 35psi works good for me w/ my suspension system.
