Please check my previous post. There is no "kit". You just order the '08 linkage and you order the '08 pitman arm.

52122362 AE steering kit
52122370 AA steering damper
CBFAH362 draglink inner joint package
CBCZH461 pitman arm

These are the part numbers for what was replaced on my truck under the steering recall.

[QUOTE=bansh-eman;2618299]Ok so I want to upgrade my steering as well. I am going to be putting a 4.5in lift on there that comes with a differant pitman. With the lift the stud should not hit the rod right?
QUOTE]

If you are using a drop pitman arm then you will not need the new pitman arm because the stud is facing up.

Ok so all I need to order is the 52122362 AE right? You reuse your stock bolts and nuts? And I will be doing aftermarket Stabilizer.

After seeing that these don't have any zerks, and the fact that I haven't had any issues with my stocker. I am keeping what I got. I can't see switching to somethig that you can't grease. This seems to be the same junk as the stock ball joints.

Wow, I thought they were greaseable, went back in this thread and looked at the pictures, no zerks, that sucks...

It does suck.

I wonder if we can use one of those needle grease guns, as someone suggested, and grease them adequately through the rubber boot?

It's still worth it to me because the linkage is so much beefier and a better design too.

I'm curious if anyone in Canada has had this work done on warranty. I have a 160,000km warranty bumper to bumper on my 2004. Anyone ?

Mine was covered under my extended warranty. I did have a tie rod end going so they replaced with the new steering.

Source Automotive offers the setup w/zerks for a reasonable price. The new setup is much beefier and the toe-in stays constant while cycling.

I looked at the one they have listed and it doesnt say anything about added zerks.

I bought mine from Source and they have the zerks. Just greased them yesterday as a matter of fact.
