TSB driver door weatherstripping

Some time back there was a post with a link to a listing of TSB's on the Geno's Garage web site. I've since gone to the web site directly and looked for a link to the TSB's but can't find it.

I'd like to look up the TSB for the chewed up weatherstrip on the driver door. My truck is currently at the dealer for something else right now but figure if I can get that fixed while it's there, so much the better.

It's an 04.5 QC 2500 LWB 4x4 CTD. (I list it here because sometimes the signature doesn't show up)

Thx
Ken

I just had it changed on my truck.. There is a new part for it that will stop the tearing.. Where the door used to cut it they have it cut away now.

The Driver door was torn so they replaced both for me with the upgraded outer door seal.

Even if you can't find the TSB it is covered under warranty..

I had the problem too and the dealer replaced the stripping and re-aligned the front doors at the same time so it wouldn't happen again.

That was about 1 year ago and still no tearing.

Problem fixed.

Has anyone had to pay for these to be replaced and what did they try to charge you?

I want to say they were around $25 piece when I replaced them a year ago.

How much of a pain in the butt is it to change these out? Both rear door seals on mine are warped. I've just been puting it off... How invloved is it?

How easy are these to change? By the TSB it looks like you rip the old ones off and push the new ones on!
