Train under the hood..... troubleshooting
I lifted the hood today to give the motor it's monthly "look-over" and noticed something disconcerning... I could hear a quite audible sound, like a steam engine going down the tracks, keeping rythem with the motor - like if you had a loose spark plug on a gasoline engine. Any thoughts as to what it may be? Truck has 66k on it.

I hope so as well - but no dice. Everything seems tight. I have narrowed it down to somewhere near or between the valve cover and fuel rail. But i just don't see any fluid or any dampness anywhere

tighten your injector lines the 8mm bolts come loose and the number 4 injector lines break on the 06's put some loctite on them and crank them down tight but dont over do it!
