Question Trailer Brake Controller Question

I was wondering if I could take my controller out of my 05 2500 and just plug it in my 07 2500. Will this work or have the wiring harnesses changed? It fits the same way just wondering if the wiring is still the same? Also I need to install a 6 round plug in the bed for my gooseneck trailer and cant find a plug-n-play harness that does that, any suggestions??

The plug and play harness, are you talking about a 7 pin to 6 & 4 pin converter plug? Parts stores should carry them.

Trailer brake controller plug under the dash should be exactly the same.

By Plug and Play, I presume you are talking about one of the no-splice kits that plugs into the factory trailer harness to put a second socket in the bed of the truck?

I just put one of these in mine. It is the easy way to put a socket in the bed of the truck, but it is the 7 way RV style, so you would still need a 7 rectangle pin to 6 round pin adapter.

This is the 2nd truck I've had with the B&W.

I'm sure you will be pleased with it.
