Toyo LT 285 75 R17 pics

Seems there are lots of tire posts lately and I recently had these tires installed. They look great and I love the weight capacity (3970lbs)
The tires are very quiet on the road and ride real nice.

I do notice that you have to increase your braking force a little over stock. I know the tires are heavier than the OEM's.

not to be noisy but about how much did you pay for tires. They look real nice. i like how it takes up that empty space compared to stock size.

4 Mounted for a little under 1k. Not cheap but they seem well made (Made in Japan) and like I said they serve an important purpose to me with the high weight rating.

When my current set wears out I'll get the same thing again. The MT's don't have quite the capacity and won't last quite as long either. Compared to the competition these are head and shoulders better then anything else that I've had.

M-55's last longer than the A/T's even. Getting the oversizes is the issue though....they don't make them in 17".

There is a guy where I work who has them (LT265 70 17 on his Ferd). But I think that is as big as they go.

These were also on the site:
LT275/70R18
Don't know what the rims they would fit onto would be like. Seems like an oddball size.

Yep, I have them on my F350 company truck. 14K on them, rotated once, and still look brand new. I've tested various AT's and MT's on my company trucks over the past five years -- nothing has the combination of durability and traction like the M-55's that I've found -- I used to do a lot of offroad / highway driving with them -- they are the best hands down IMHO.

That's the problem, factory sizes in 17" and up for M-55's. You can get various configurations 16" and smaller diameter though.
